  • Kyle Wellman co-founded Paradigm after a four-year playing career at Hendrix College, where he finished top 10 in multiple pitching categories, including single-season K/9 and ERA. He earned his degree in Psychology and Ethics in Leadership, with concentrations in Psychology, Philosophy, Spanish, and Data Analytics.

During college, Kyle trained and interned at Push Performance in Tempe, AZ, serving as a Player Development and Analytics Intern and acting as the bridge between S&C and Pitching. After graduation, he worked as a Performance Coach at Tread Athletics in Charlotte, NC before returning to Arizona to launch Paradigm Player Development Solutions.

Known by many as “Welly,” Kyle emphasizes that Paradigm’s strength lies in its commitment to both winning baseball games and developing complete baseball players:

  • Zach Camp is the Chief Financial Officer and Co-Founder of Paradigm. He began his career at Swarthmore College, earning a degree in Economics with a focus in Statistical Modeling, while developing himself from a high-70s arm into a low-90s thrower. He later transferred to Villanova University, where he earned both an MBA and a Master of Finance with specializations in Finance and Strategic Management.

On the field, Zach led NCAA D3 in BB/9 and went on to set the all-time appearances record as a reliever at Villanova. Off the field, he was originally on track for a career in investment banking before co-founding Paradigm.

Zach is passionate about quality control, ensuring Paradigm’s deliverables not only meet but consistently exceed expectations:

  • Will Parkinson serves as COO and Director of Data for Paradigm. While majoring in Environmental Studies at Columbia University, he developed the first iteration of Paradigm’s Stuff+ model, built specifically for mid-major programs. On the field, he was a key bullpen arm for Columbia, earning Preseason Stopper of the Year honors before an injury sidelined his senior season.

Following his injury, Will transferred to Villanova University, where he is finishing his playing career on the mound while earning a graduate certificate in Data Science. At Paradigm, he oversees statistical modeling, algorithm development, and report maintenance, ensuring the highest level of service for all clients.

Will believes the strength of Paradigm is in its ability to make complex problems simple for college baseball coaches. His biggest passion is delivering insights and drawing conclusions from models that simplify coaching decisions:

  • Jack Hodgins earned his bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Data Analytics from Hendrix College, where he spent five seasons as the Warriors’ Friday night starter. Over his career, he set multiple program records, ranking first in IP, strikeouts, and wins, and was named D3 Rookie of the Year.

At Paradigm, Jack’s role includes code development, data visualization, and serving as lead solutions expert. Beyond coding, he acts as a strategist and systems engineer, providing valuable insights to improve organizational efficiency. Jack believes Paradigm’s strength is in its ingenuity and its ability to think creatively about baseball problems:

  • Thomas “Tommy” Santana joins Paradigm after completing a full-time internship as a Research Analyst. A senior at Columbia University, he was named the team’s Friday starter and built his expertise in baseball data as an Analyst for the SABRLions, Columbia’s baseball SABRmetrics club, where he provided deep dives on pitch usage and scouting reports for teammates.

At Paradigm, Tommy serves as Development Analyst, acting as the primary author of articles and research while applying hands-on data analysis to support player development and research initiatives. He is passionate about conducting player deep dives and uncovering insights that drive winning baseball. Tommy believes Paradigm’s strength lies in its relentless pursuit of excellence in blending analytics with physical player development.
